Pilot's Altimeter

1. Download and open the app, grant location permission, and choose your preferred units (feet/meters and QNH/QFE mode). 2. Set or calibrate the barometric pressure using ATIS/ATC QNH at the departure airport or enter known field elevation for accurate reference. 3. Use real-time barometric altitude as the primary readout, switch to GPS-backed altitude as a backup, and monitor displayed altitude and vertical speed during taxi and flight. 4. Configure altitude alerts and thresholds to receive warnings near critical altitudes or terrain, and enable external sensor pairing for enhanced accuracy. 5. After flight, review the logged altitude data, export or share flight logs, and adjust advanced calibration settings if needed for future flights.
