It offers a simple one-tap connection and a built-in VPN mode to protect selected apps, hide your IP, and reach blocked websites and services. Ideal for private messaging, secure browsing, and safe connectivity on public Wi-Fi or in restricted networks. Key features include VPN mode for per-app routing without root, bridges to bypass network blocks, and open-source transparency with no logs.
How to use:
1. Download and install Orbot, then open the app.
2. Tap Start to connect to the Tor network and wait until the status shows connected.
3. Turn on VPN mode and select the apps you want to route through Tor.
4. If your network blocks Tor, open Bridges and choose a built-in bridge or add one provided by trusted sources.
5. Use your selected apps or a Tor-enabled browser as usual, and return to Orbot to pause or adjust settings when finished.
