1. Choose your side and select an AI difficulty, then start a new match. 2. Place one stone per turn on any empty intersection of the board. 3. Align five of your stones in a straight line horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to win. 4. Block your opponent’s open lines of three and four to prevent immediate threats. 5. Create forks that threaten multiple winning lines to force favorable responses. 6. Maintain initiative by balancing attack and defense and securing key intersections near the center.
