How to use:
1. Download and open the app, then grant Location and Motion/Compass permissions when prompted for accurate readings.
2. Calibrate the compass by moving your phone in a figure-eight pattern and follow the on-screen guidance until accuracy improves.
3. In settings, choose True North or Magnetic North, select units, and enable tilt compensation for best results.
4. Hold your phone flat and away from metal objects or magnets, then read your heading and degrees from the compass dial and azimuth display.
5. Set a waypoint or bearing, then follow the indicator to stay on course; optionally view coordinates, altitude, and share your location with contacts.
6. For outdoor trips, pre-open the map in areas with service to cache tiles; core compass functions work offline. Note: best performance requires a device with a magnetometer.
