Choose a pit on your side of the board and pick up all the seeds from that pit. Sow the seeds one by one into subsequent pits in a counterclockwise direction. Aim to finish your move in a position that triggers a capture; when conditions are met, the game applies captures automatically and adds them to your score. Set up future captures by shaping pit counts while disrupting your opponent’s plans to deny big swings. Keep your side supplied with seeds so you always have a legal move and control the tempo of the round. Play until a player cannot move; the player with the higher total of captured seeds wins.
